Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Atlanta, GA to monitor and protect clients across multiple industries, including financial institutions. This role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to participate in the Claim a Shift platform, while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a visible security presence.

As a part-time unarmed officer, you will perform access control, patrol duties, and incident reporting with professionalism.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience are preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and clients at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee activity in accordance with site policies, reporting unusual conditions or policy violations.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation accurately and promptly.

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
