Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Atlanta, GA. You will safeguard clients across Tech/Media/Telecom locations, maintain a visible presence, and deliver exceptional customer service while patrolling assigned areas.

Position Type: Part Time. Pay Rate: $17.77 / Hour. Schedule includes Thu and Fri 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM. Eligible to advance under Allied Universal’s shift-claim platform.

Qualifications

• At least one year of law enforcement experience or at least three years of security experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 (unarmed) or 21+ (armed) years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors and stakeholders at a corporate tech location.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns in a calm, professional manner per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, and surrounding grounds.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; maintain incident logs.
• Communicate professionally with staff and Allied Universal leadership.

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. • Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and other stakeholders at a corporate technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a welcoming, orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of law enforcement experience, at least two years of security-related supervisor or manager experience, or at least three years of security-related experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
