Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer Armed in Atlanta, GA. You will patrol, deter incidents, monitor access, and respond to security concerns while delivering professional service to government facilities and the public.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of armed security or related experience, a high school diploma, and CPR/First Aid certifications are preferred. This role offers a flexible schedule and the chance to contribute to community safety.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $21.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon – 10:00 AM - 08:00 PM
• Wed – 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sat – 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at government facilities.
• Monitor access points, verify authorization as required, and report unauthorized or suspicious activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation while maintaining professional communication with site representatives and law enforcement.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
