The position pays $24.16 per hour with a part-time schedule, and participation in an Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program. Eligible candidates must be 21+, have a HS diploma, and pass background and drug screenings.

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct armed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, ATMs, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry; report unusual conditions or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner following post orders.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of patrols, incidents, and security observations for site leadership.

As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol Operations in Atlanta, GA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $24.16 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of banking areas, entrances, parking areas, ATMs, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unusual conditions or suspicious behavior.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following applicable post orders and escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of patrols, incidents, and security‑related observations, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 4 years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
