Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Part Time, Unarmed Patrol) in Atlanta, GA. You will monitor a financial institution, provide customer service, and deter security incidents while maintaining a visible presence.

This role offers a flexible schedule (Part Time) with daytime shifts. Minimum requirements include two years of security experience, HS diploma, and ability to pass background checks; CPR/First Aid preferred. Pay is $20.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while following site policies and emergency procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols to deter incidents and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity per site procedures, reporting unusual activity or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow escalation and notification procedures.
• Complete accurate incident reports and daily logs with professional presence.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and notification procedures.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
