Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Access Verification) for Phoenix, AZ. You will protect clients at a financial institution, monitor access, and patrol assigned areas while delivering excellent customer service.

Position Type: Part Time. Pay Rate: $19.62 / Hour. Schedule includes DayTime shifts from 02:00 PM to 10:00 PM on multiple days. Join a team focused on integrity and community impact.

Qualifications

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, entrances, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence in a client-focused financial services environment.
