Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer at a financial institution in Phoenix, AZ. You will welcome visitors, manage access, badge procedures, and monitor security systems while delivering exceptional customer service.

As a Front Desk Officer, you will respond calmly to incidents, coordinate with colleagues, and help maintain a safe, professional lobby environment. A guard card and security experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per laws.
• Criminal history considered per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors at a front desk within a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control protocols.
• Greet and screen visitors, verify appointments and identification as required, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Monitor entry activity, respond to access-control alarms or unusual activity, and notify appropriate personnel in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Answer phones, direct inquiries to appropriate departments, and support a professional, welcoming lobby environment while helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
