• Respond to incidents, access concerns and critical situations calmly, escalating per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior/exterior areas to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain logs and reports of daily activities.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, guests and emergency responders while supporting a professional environment.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters in accordance with site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and reports of daily activities and incidents.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, guests, and emergency responders while supporting a professional environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
