Allied Universal is seeking a Security Guard Part Time Unarmed Patrol in Johnstown, PA. You will patrol, monitor and provide excellent customer service at a financial institution and other sites, maintaining a visible security presence.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check conducted per federal, state and local laws.
• Allied Universal may consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by following site procedures.
• Monitor entrances and surrounding areas; report unusual activity and policy violations.
• Respond calmly to incidents; follow post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, parking, ATM areas and perimeter.
• Prepare accurate daily activity and incident reports while maintaining confidentiality.

Pay Rate: $18.24 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a financial institution by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and surrounding areas; observe and report unusual activity, suspicious behavior, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, parking areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining confidentiality of client, employee, and customer information.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
