Job summary

Allied Universal in Grove City, PA, is seeking a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer to monitor a manufacturing and industrial site, deter incidents, and provide excellent customer service. You will conduct patrols, control access, and report observations to leadership.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and deliveries while following site security procedures.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, and perimeters to identify hazards.
• Monitor access points, verify entry, and maintain visitor/contractor logs.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow emergency procedures.
• Document observations and communicate information to leadership and site contacts.

• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies in a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor and contractor logs in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
