Job summary

Allied Universal in Grove City, PA is seeking a part-time Security Officer Patrol Services to monitor and protect facilities across industrial settings. You will perform unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors.

Shifts are on weekends (Sat and Sun) 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM with pay at $16.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check in accordance with federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen may be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local rules.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers at an industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random foot/vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, and parking areas.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and maintain logs for personnel, deliveries, and contractors.
• Respond to incidents and alarms, notifying contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Document observations and incidents in reports and communicate with leadership and site personnel.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs for personnel, deliveries, and contractor entry.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify site contacts and/or emergency responders according to established procedures.
• Document observations, patrol activities, and incidents in clear, timely reports while communicating professionally with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
