Job summary

Allied Universal in New Kensington, PA is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed Patrol Route Driver). You will provide proactive security, conduct routine patrols by foot and vehicle, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

A valid driver’s license is required; you will work a night schedule (Mon/Tue 11:00 PM–07:00 AM) with a competitive pay rate of $17.51 per hour.

Pay Rate:

$17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and vehicle patrols of industrial facilities, production areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying authorization, observing visitor and contractor activity, and communicating site entry requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalating concerns as appropriate.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities in clear and accurate reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
