Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, processing areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and control access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing personnel according to site requirements.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications while maintaining awareness of changing site conditions.

Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sun: 04:00 AM - 12:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.
