As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service needs. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, innovative team that acts with integrity.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed by site policy, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a professional presence while communicating clearly with site personnel and supporting compliance with applicable facility procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
