Allied Universal is hiring a Part-Time Unarmed Security Officer in Atlanta, GA to protect clients across transportation and other settings. You will patrol, deter incidents, monitor entrances, and communicate professionally with visitors and staff, delivering courteous service in a welcoming, team-focused culture.

Qualifications

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and communicate professionally with visitors and staff. Pay Rate: $17.53 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur 01:00 AM - 09:00 AM
• Fri 01:00 AM - 09:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a public transportation licensing location.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public service areas, offices, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow, provide directions to customers, and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations to site leadership.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and other documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
