Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Experienced Unarmed Patrol) in Atlanta, GA. You will provide customer service, patrol assigned areas, and support access control at a corporate technology location.

Minimum requirements include 1 year of law enforcement or 2+ years security supervision, 3+ years security experience, and HS diploma. The role offers evening and weekend shifts with a $17.77/hour pay rate.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of law enforcement experience, or 2+ years in security supervision/management, or 3+ years in security.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a corporate technology location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking locations, building perimeters, and other designated areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with access control and maintaining accurate incident-related documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established response protocols.
• Prepare clear reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and client contacts as directed.

• Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, at least 2 years of security‑related supervisor/manager experience, or at least 3 years of security‑related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
