Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part Time Unarmed Driver Awareness Security Officer in Waipahu, HI. You will provide customer service, patrol designated areas, monitor access, and report security concerns while maintaining a calm, professional presence.

A valid driver’s license is required and the role includes schedule on Wed and Sun from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM. This driving position offers flexible hours and opportunities to grow within a dynamic team

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or property representatives by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a commercial storage property.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of storage areas, access points, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access activity and report suspicious behavior, unsecured doors or gates, property damage, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel or emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications for Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
