As an Unarmed Security Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor access points, and respond to alarms or security-related concerns. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to store customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floors, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, potential theft, and policy violations, and report observations to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports and communicate relevant security‑related information to Allied Universal supervision and client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security‑related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
