Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology location by carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify site contacts or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular patrols of interior and exterior areas and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity and maintain incident documentation.
• Communicate clearly with site personnel and follow reporting requirements.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed by policy.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, parking areas, building perimeters, entrances, and common areas, while observing and reporting unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, helping to deter unauthorized entry and maintaining accurate incident and activity documentation.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
