Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Unarmed) in Blythewood, SC. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence, support access control, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors.

Competenze

• Possess 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeFri10:30 PM - 06:30 AMSat10:30 PM - 06:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Support a professional, orderly work environment by following Allied Universal and site policies, communicating clearly with site contacts, and completing assigned security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 2 or more years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess 2 or more years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
