Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed in Greer, SC to protect client facilities across automotive environments. You will patrol, assist visitors, and enforce site policies while maintaining a friendly, professional presence.

The role offers part-time hours with flexible shifts and the opportunity to build experience through our Claim a Shift platform, while delivering excellent customer service and security operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors per site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document observations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of automotive areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access by verifying visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials.
• Complete activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and promptly.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of automotive manufacturing areas, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity and potential security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete required activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
