Job summary

Allied Universal in Greenville, SC is seeking a part-time Security Officer – Site Observation to provide protective services at a manufacturing/industrial location. You will maintain a visible presence, monitor access, and respond to incidents while delivering excellent customer service and upholding company values.

You will patrol assigned areas, report suspicious activity and complete required documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen; licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, parking areas, access points, and property perimeter.
• Monitor access to the location, observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns.
• Complete required reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation accurately and promptly.

Pay Rate: $15.84 / Hour

Sat07:00 AM – 07:00 PM

Sun07:00 AM – 07:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a manufacturing and industrial location.

• Monitor access to the location, observe vehicle and pedestrian traffic, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.

• Complete required reports, patrol logs, and incident documentation accurately and promptly.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.

• Customer service experience is preferred.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
