Allied Universal is hiring a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer in Greer, SC. The role focuses on protecting clients, monitoring access, and delivering courteous customer service at an automotive location.

You will patrol premises, verify credentials, respond to incidents, and complete shift reports while upholding Allied Universal’s standards of integrity and teamwork.

Qualifications

• A current guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related activities, and when appropriate, emergency response actions at an automotive location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and perimeter locations to help identify suspicious activity and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help support authorized access in accordance with post orders and location procedures.
• Observe and report hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues that could affect operations, and complete required reports before the end of each shift.

What You’ll Do:
