Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer TWIC Credential Validation in Long Beach, CA. The role focuses on access control at a utilities site, verifying credentials, guiding visitors, and maintaining secure entry points.

You can build a flexible schedule through our Claim a Shift platform while contributing to safety and service. The position requires TWIC issuance, HS diploma or equivalent, background checks, and compliance with drug screening.

Qualificações

• Possess Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by TSA.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor records, and control access to restricted areas in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facility grounds, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and access control documentation while communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
