The candidate will perform shifts on weekends with a fixed schedule and must meet TSA TWIC and minimum experience requirements. Applicants should have a high school diploma and be prepared for background checks and drug screening as required by law.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check as per law.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, contractors, and visitors by enforcing site-specific access-control procedures.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points; verify credentials and access permissions.
• Maintain logs of visitor activity, vehicle traffic, deliveries and incidents.
• Respond calmly to incidents and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders.
• Conduct regular patrols of terminals and surrounding areas to deter unauthorized activity.

Pay Rate: $18.80 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, contractors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries; verify credentials, visitor authorization, shipping documentation, and/or access permissions in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of visitor activity, vehicle traffic, deliveries, incidents, and access-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; communicate with site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminal access points, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
