Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Part Time Security Officer in Wilmington, CA to monitor areas, perform patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver excellent customer service. The role supports a secure environment with a team-aligned, integrity-driven culture.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, enforcing site policies, and reporting observations. Minimum requirements cover TSA TWIC, age, education, background checks, drug screening, and licensing as applicable.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas and facility perimeter.
• Monitor access by verifying authorized personnel, visitors, and deliveries.
• Document patrols and incidents accurately and communicate information to leadership.
• Background investigations will be conducted as per federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screening will be conducted as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $18.42 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
