Allied Universal in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a part-time Security Officer Site Reporting to monitor access, conduct patrols, and provide a welcoming security presence for employees and visitors. You will log activities and respond to incidents to deter security-related issues at a dynamic technology and logistics location.

As a valued member of Allied Universal, you will complete required reporting, coordinate with site contacts, and uphold safety standards while balancing a flexible schedule

Competenze

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Background check and drug screen will be required.

As a Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide welcoming customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and team members, and use computer or tablet systems to support daily operations. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.51 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology and logistics-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, maintain visitor logs, and direct guests in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating observations to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business areas, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Document incidents, daily activities, and security-related observations accurately and completely using required reporting tools.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
