• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors and employees by enforcing access-control procedures and site policies.
• Monitor entry/exit points for vehicles, personnel and visitors; verify credentials and maintain access records.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalate concerns per site procedures.
• Conduct regular patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, drivers and site leadership regarding access issues and security concerns.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points for commercial vehicles, personnel, and visitors; verify credentials, process visitor information, and maintain required access records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch personnel, drivers, and site leadership regarding access issues, delivery traffic, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
