Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer in Mount Vernon, IN. You will protect clients across industries including Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government, and more.

Starting wage is $18.95 per hour. This is a part-time rotating shift with paid orientation and training. A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions; background checks and drug screens will be conducted as conditions of employment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• Subject to background investigation compliant with laws
• Subject to drug screen where permitted by law
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter
