Job summary

Allied Universal in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a part-time Security Officer - Enhanced to provide reliable on-site security and customer service. This role features fixed shifts with the option to pick up additional shifts via our scheduling platform, boosting earnings.

Pay rate is $18.85 per hour with a schedule of DayTime Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM. Candidates must be 18+, pass a background check, and have a high school diploma. DoD clearance may be required for some sites.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive operational areas within an aerospace and defense location to help support authorized access and compliance with site policies.
• Complete routine reports, logs, and communication with site contacts regarding patrol activity, incidents, and/or maintenance or security-related issues observed during the shift.
