Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct routine patrols to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, reporting issues to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and shift communications.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thur 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of automotive manufacturing, warehouse, parking, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
