Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to provide security services at a financial institution site. The role offers a fixed schedule with anchor shifts and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings through the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift program.

Pay is $21.00 per hour with a six-month anchor shift commitment. The position supports part-time hours with potential to scale up, ensuring flexibility, income stability, and chances for advancement

• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and escalate as needed through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, documenting observations and unusual activity.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports related to incidents, patrols, and access activity.

Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Security Services

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTimeWed03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate within a financial institution environment.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials, and assist with maintaining an orderly flow of employees, guests, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including business spaces, access points, and perimeter locations, while documenting observations and unusual activity.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports related to incidents, patrols, access activity, and other security‑related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
