Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part Time Security Officer in Center Valley, PA. You will monitor, patrol, and deter incidents while providing professional customer service to clients and staff.

Eligible candidates will be at least 18, with a high school diploma, pass a background check and drug screen, and may need a valid driver’s license for driving roles.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state or local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail and mall locations, including common areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas, to help identify unusual activity and potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
