As a Screener you will monitor access points, screen people and items, and report suspicious activity while delivering professional customer service. You will work in a logistics and distribution setting with a flexible schedule via the Claim a Shift platform.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while enforcing site security procedures and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering designated areas in accordance with site procedures and access requirements.
• Monitor access points, shipping and receiving areas, and screening equipment; report unusual activity, policy violations, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner following post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated business areas and the perimeter to deter unauthorized access and support security operations.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
