Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while enforcing site procedures.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and vehicles per procedures for a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry points, loading areas, and related spaces; report suspicious activity or policy violations to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly and follow emergency protocols; document relevant details.
• Conduct regular patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking and loading dock areas.

As a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, you will support security-related operations by screening people, packages, and/or materials, monitoring access points, and responding to alarms or irregular activity. Your visible presence and professional communication will help deter incidents while delivering exceptional service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.33 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and access-control policies.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles in accordance with established procedures for a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry points, loading areas, and related operational spaces; report suspicious activity, unauthorized access attempts, and policy violations to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols and documenting relevant details.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, business perimeter, parking areas, and loading dock areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
