Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, delivery personnel, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific access screening procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals and permitted items entering the location in accordance with established procedures, escalating prohibited or suspicious items or activity to appropriate personnel.
• Verify identification, access credentials, visitor authorizations, and delivery documentation before permitting entry to restricted areas.
• Operate screening equipment and maintain awareness of access points to help deter unauthorized entry and support a controlled workplace environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts as needed.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Wed: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Screen individuals and permitted items entering the technology-focused location in accordance with established procedures, escalating prohibited or suspicious items or activity to appropriate personnel.

• Operate screening equipment and maintain awareness of access points to help deter unauthorized entry and support a controlled workplace environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
