As a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening personnel, visitors, and/or shipments; monitoring access points; responding to security-related concerns; and delivering professional customer service. Pay Rate: $17.33 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and team members while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel entering designated areas in accordance with access-control procedures.
• Inspect bags, packages, parcels, and other items as directed by site procedures, documenting and reporting irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated facility areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report observed concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
