Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer Rotating/Parking for Wilkes-Barre, PA. You will provide customer service, monitor entrances, and patrol distribution areas to deter incidents while maintaining a visible security presence.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and communicate observations to site contacts in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and direct authorized personnel to appropriate areas.
• Observe inventory areas and report hazards or unusual activity to site leadership.

• Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and driver activity in accordance with site procedures; verify authorization and direct individuals to appropriate areas.
• Observe conditions around inventory storage, shipping, and receiving areas and report unusual activity, damaged barriers, or potential hazards to site leadership.

What You'll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
