As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations. You will support access control, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide customer-focused service. Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM


• Sun 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.


• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, sorting and distribution spaces, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter.


• Monitor access points and support authorized entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site requirements.


• Report observed security-related concerns, unusual activity, damaged property, and policy violations to appropriate personnel and complete required documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• At this site, there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.


• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
