Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors at a front desk by following site-specific security procedures.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor credentials and managing visitor logs.
• Answer calls, greet visitors, and communicate site procedures and access requirements.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, escalating as needed to responders.
• Maintain visitor activity records and shift communications per site requirements.

Pay Rate: $19.67 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Sun 09:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and contractors at a front desk within a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the facility by verifying visitor credentials, maintaining visitor logs, issuing access credentials as directed, and communicating entry requirements.
• Answer incoming calls, greet and direct visitors, and provide clear information regarding site procedures, authorized access, and visitor protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of visitor activity, access-related events, incidents, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
