The role uses our Claim a Shift platform to build a flexible schedule, with pay at $21.84 per hour and on‑the‑job training that supports career growth.

Qualifications

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Guard card/license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors and contractors at a technology location per site security policies.
• Manage front desk access by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, logging visits, and directing guests.
• Monitor entry points and access control systems; report issues to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly following emergency procedures and notifying contacts.
• Keep accurate records of visitor activity, deliveries and security events per site rules.

Pay Rate: $21.84 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Manage front desk access by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing guests according to established protocols.
• Monitor entry points, access control systems, and communications equipment; report unusual activity, access issues, and/or equipment concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and notifying required contacts.
• Maintain accurate records of visitor activity, deliveries, incidents, and other front desk security-related matters in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
