As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Reception Alarm Console in Wilmington, DE, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $16.32 / Hour

Job Schedule: Sat 04:00 PM - 12:00 AM

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors while carrying out site‑specific procedures and security‑related policies at a residential condominium location.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and vendor entry in accordance with established procedures, and maintain accurate visitor, package, and/or delivery records.
• Respond to resident concerns, incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following emergency response procedures as directed.
• Monitor lobby activity, cameras, access control systems, and/or communication equipment, reporting unusual activity or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a professional front desk presence, answer incoming calls, provide directions and general property information, and complete required activity reports and documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
