Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Support in Sparks, NV. You will monitor data center areas, perform patrols, manage access control, and deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

Position is full time with day and night shifts; pay rate is $25.21 per hour. Minimum requirements include a guard card and relevant certifications; background checks and drug screening apply; must be 18+ (21+ for armed roles) and have a HS diploma

Qualifications

• Guard card or applicable license preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology data center by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of data center buildings, access points, parking areas, perimeter areas, and critical infrastructure locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and document entries, exits, and security-related events.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders according to established procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrol observations, incidents, access activity, and shift handoffs.

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Support in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.
