Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Presence Officer in Saint Louis, MO. You will patrol, monitor access, and maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents while delivering professional customer service.

This role offers flexible DayTime schedules and opportunities to use Allied Universal’s claim a shift platform. A background check and drug screen are required by law, with licensing where applicable.

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Minimum age: 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

DayTimeMon06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Fri06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology and telecommunications location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate contacts and follow site-specific response protocols.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter unauthorized activity and support a professional environment for all occupants.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
