Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer in Louisville, KY, to provide a visible security presence, assist visitors, and enforce site policies at a telecommunications/media location. You will perform routine patrols, monitor access, and maintain detailed reports to deter incidents.

The role requires 1 year of security experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to obtain necessary clearances. CPR is preferred; a background check and drug screen are required.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a telecommunications and media location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials; report access irregularities, suspicious activity, and maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner per site procedures and notify emergency services and/or site contacts as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related communications.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
