Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at distribution and retail locations.
• Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouses, loading areas, receiving and shipping zones, retail spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document security-related observations, incidents, and required reports.
• Support loss prevention and operational continuity by reporting hazards, damaged property, policy violations, and unusual conditions to appropriate site contacts.

As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol distribution and retail locations, helping to deter incidents through a visible presence. You will conduct routine rounds, observe and report security‑related concerns, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $18.57 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
