As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and associates. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail sales floors, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer disputes, suspected theft, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions and potential policy violations to appropriate store leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity accurately while following site-specific reporting procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
