Job Description

As a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Monitoring in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication, routine rounds, and timely reporting. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding grounds to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, patient and staff escorts, and access-control procedures as assigned.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
