As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist customers and store personnel with professionalism. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $12.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 02:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Monitor access points and support access control procedures for employees, vendors, deliveries, and visitors as directed.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Preferred: Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Preferred: Customer service experience.
• Preferred: A state, county, or city-issued security-related license.
• Preferred: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
