Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Part Time Patrol Driver in Charleston, SC. You will perform unarmed patrols, provide customer service, and support access control at a retail location while adhering to company policies.

As a Security Officer supporting a retail location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM
• Tue 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM
• Wed 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM
• Sun 12:00 PM - 06:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, and report observations to appropriate store leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Assist with access control, crowd management, and maintaining a professional presence to help deter unwanted activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
